8am ‐ 10am Creative Arts Check‐In – Crafts, Fine Arts, Collective Hobbies, Photography, Quilts, Needlework, Sewing, Food Preservation

1pm Judge Creative Arts (Crafts, Fine Arts, Collective Hobbies, Photography, Quilts, Needlework, Sewing, Food Preservation (results will be announced Saturday, June 1st at the conclusion of the Baked Goods and Horticulture judging).

6am Top Hand and Top Horse Show check‐in
7am Top Hand and Top Horse Show after slack from Speed Show.
7am – 8am Move in In‐County Beef Heifers
8am Open for Pen Set‐up. FAIR PASS IS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY.
8am Check‐in ‐ Youth BBQ Cook‐off
8am ‐ 10am Creative Arts Check‐In (Food Preparation & Horticulture)
8am In County Beef Heifer Check in
10am Judge In‐County Beef Heifer Show followed by Pee Wee Beef Show. All heifers will be released following the conclusion of the beef heifer show. All in county beef projects must be removed by 6:00pm
1pm Judge Creative Arts (Food Preparation & Horticulture)
5pm ‐ 7pm Lions Club Opens for Sale of Food Prep Items & Produce & Display of Results
7:30pm Rodeo & Crowning of the 2013 Fair Queen
9pm Kick‐Off Dance in the Main Hall

6am ‐ 1pm Move in all Market Animals except Poultry and Rabbits and Pen of 3 Heifers

4pm Exhibitors Signing up for Work Hours – Go Texan Building
4:30 p.m. Kid’s Rodeo Check in

5pm ‐ 7pm Move in Ag. Mechanics
6pm All Weight Cards for Market Animals due to Show Secretaries (exception is swine)

10am Senior Citizens Day and Children’s Day
10am Pee Wee Shows – Swine, Goat, Lamb
Noon All Premium and Freezer Sale exhibitors excluding those participants showing steers, Pen of 3 and Ag Mechanics must notify the Sale Committee which project they wish to sell. These exhibitors must notify the Sale Committee within 10 minutes of the conclusion of their show which project they want to sell.
2pm Pen of 3 Awards in the show ring.
3pm Judge Ag Mechanics Show. For those projects not selling in the premium sale check‐out will be at the conclusion of the show.
7pm Judge Market Steer Show
9pm ‐ midnight Teen Dance (DJ & Karoke) Sponsored by the Grimes County Jr. Fair Board

9am – 11am Release of premium and non‐sale animals. All exhibitors must be present at this time
10am – 12pm Release of Creative Arts projects.
6pm Ranch Hand Rodeo (contestants & all associates must pay gate fee unless they have a fair pass)
6:30pm Freezer Auction (main hall). All freezer sale projects will be released at the conclusion of the freezer sale. All exhibitors must be present at this time.
8pm Dance
